oh, Edward Cullen

I dreamt about the story while I was reading the books...now that I've seen the movie, it has yet again taken over my brain.

It's a drug. A wonderful, sparkly, dazzling drug. (My personal brand of heroin, you could say...hehehe.)

I MUST SEE IT AGAIN SOON! :) :) :) :) :)

what it do?

This week is so insane, but not all in a bad way. Just very busy! We haven't done laundry since Saturday and I think I might be out of pants...that's not good. Oh well. Maybe I'll wear a skirt tomorrow.

Anywho, I just got back from dinner with Matt and Diana. We sort of discussed their wedding photos, but I want to get together with her after Thanksgiving and nail it all down. Prices, does she want photos of them together before the ceremony or seperately- that kind of stuff. The money is a BIG deal to me. I refuse to do it for less than $200, and that's ceremony and formal shots either before or after. If they want me to do the rehearsal and reception, it will be more. But considering that if they were to hire a "professional" they would fork over thousands of bucks, I don't think $200 is completely unreasonable. I figured I will ask her what price she thinks it's worth, then I will give her my price. Cause if she says $350 or something, no way am I going to say first that I would only charge $200!!! That would be rediculous. They are my friends, but I'm not in this just for fun. Photography is a business, and I need to get used to treating it as such. (Thank you, Kandi, for hammering that into my head!!!)

I am going to write up a contract of sorts before I meet with her. I figured we could go to a coffee shop so that there isn't a tv or anything else distracting. I want her to take this seriously, because I am. I am going to commit a LOT of time to this wedding, what with actually taking the photos and then editing them. So I want to be certain that I make them happy with what I do, but also that I don't get swindled in the end.

Well, guess I better hit the hay...Tomorrow is Lofton's class, and we will find out how we did on our last exam! I think I did really well! In class on Tuesday he said that from what he could recall, "No one bombed this one like they usually do." So that must mean I didn't bomb it like I usually do!! haha I'm hopeful that I made a B!! YAY!!! That would boost my grade in there nicely :)

Oh, and Friday is the BIG DAY!! EDWARD CULLEN and I will be in a DARK room together. Of course, he'll be on screen and I'll be sitting in a nasty theater chair, but who cares? I could lick him all over, if only he were real....

I'm such a perv.

...my office smells like pickles.

What a day! And night, for that matter! The chili dinner went wonderfully- we ended up with like 13 people in the end. People hear the word chili and they come running! It was fun. I never would have thought that so many people could fit in our living room/kitchen. We were packed, but I can't wait to do it again. Kelsea and I ran to the liquor store in Paragould to get Jager and Buttershots and by the time we got back, a lot of people had already left. Wendy, Jonathan and Kevin were just leaving we we pulled up. They are all going to do a class thing at 4:30 in the fricken morning, so I don't blame them for going home early! I would too. They left the laundry mat parking lot, we got to my drive way and Clark was coming out. He ended up coming back in for a bit, had a shot with us, suggested drinking tomorrow night (guess I should remember to ask everyone else too...remind me, computer, to do that). Then he left too. So there was one guy left who was playing a game with Joe. I don't know his name- he's quiet. Actually, I guess he's the only one whose name I don't know. That's sad. Kelsea and I went into the computer room and played cards and did shots and got a lil tipsy. We played more cards, went for a walk to ATO house, came back, now she's gone and I need to clean up the kitchen.

WHEW! That was a bit of a play-by-play, which I'm sure is horribly boring. But I'm not forcing anyone to read this, and there won't be a quiz over it later....I think I need to go to bed.

crazy crazy crazy

AGH! I'm working 1-3 today, then going to the gym to sweat off the pizza I ate earlier *woo!*, then coming back home to change and clean the house up a bit. At 5 I have a study group in the Library for our Politics test that's tomorrow (eek!), then I have to come home and make dinner (veggie pizza- had to rearrange the meal plan a bit). AND I have to start chili for tomorrow night's dinner because I won't get off work til 5 and people are coming over at 6:30! And the house is still messy. Still have to do dishes, vaccuum and mop...I have been so fricken busy lately, and I don't know why!?!?

Friday I am going to be lazy as hell. Oh, but wait- I'm not. I have to volunteer to call Perrin supporters so I get a good grade in Politics. UG. Won't it ever stop?

this weekend

Joe's going to a deer check station with his Wildlife Management class somewhere...I guess I should find out where it is they are going. Anywho, we went to a party they were having the other night- which was a buttload of fun *sorry for the buttload thing, but it's the only way to describe it properly* and I met all of his peeps. It's crazy, cause most of these people were in his first class here (Ornithology) and I am just now actually meeting them. They were all friendly, and they invited me to go with them this weekend. They're staying in some sort of cabin and making a fire...sounds awesome! And I really wanted to go, but I already had plans to be in Mountain Home. Bummer! That's alright though. Next time!

I'm going to have them over for dinner one night soon. There were only two other girls there the other night (there are a few others in the class from what I understand, but I'm not sure they really try to be part of the group outside of class.) So I figured, bunch of young men, living on campus, away from home...they probably don't eat home cooked meals very often. I know if Joe didn't have me, he'd be eating Beenie Weenies and Ramen noodles every day. So I want to either grill burgers or do a HUGE pot of chili. Kind of depends on when we do it because of the weather. The other problem is that our house has never had that many people in it, so I'm not sure if we can actually do it there. We don't have anywhere for that many people to sit. But I can make food and bring it to wherever we go. I'm excited about having more potential friends! :)
